Itinerary - day by day

Distance: Warm up ride 25 km |  Altitude: 330 m

The tour begins in the picturesque capital of Ljubljana. The team will ensure your warm welcome with a light lunch upon arrival before getting out on some local gravel paths. Tonight, enjoy a traditional evening meal in Ljubljana to fuel up for the week ahead.

Distance: 70 km |  Altitude: 1800 m | Place: Ljubljana to Velika Planina

Cycle north to Velika planina – The largest shepherds’ settlement in Europe. The route has a progressive incline as you ride into the Slavik mountains. Dinner tonight will be accompanied with fresh mountain air and incredible views.

 Distance: 40 km |  Altitude: 740 m | Place: Logar Valley

Begin the day with a roll down the shepherds settlement. From here, three are a few undulating hills as you make a backwards C shape into the Logar Valley. The Logar Valley is a beautiful region with alpine glacial valleys which flow into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the north of Slovenia. Tonight, recharge at the outdoor spa while enjoying the serenity of the alpine mountains.

 Distance: 72 km |  Altitude: 1300 m | Place: Kranj

Today’s overall elevation is lighter than the former rides but this does not make the ride less challenging. Begin the day with a tarmc climb into Austria – a 9 km climb gaining 700 metres. There is a short and sweet descent before tackiling the second and more gentle climb into the Jezersko region of Slovenia. Take a coffee stop before escaping into a wide gravel path surrounded by alpine forest. Soon, you’ll arriving into the third largest village of Slovenia, Kranj.

 Distance: 62 km |  Altitude: 1300 m | Place:Lake Bohinj

Start the day with an easy roll out and into the Bela peč forest, known for its isolated farms. From here, the climbing begins. Expect mixed terrain as you ride into Lake Bohinj.

Distance: 43 km |  Altitude: 1000 m | Place: Queen Stage

The final stage of this tour is to the European gem, Lake Bled. Begin the ride by riding into the depths of the Triglav National Park. From kilometre 64, take the left to follow the Triglav Bistrica, a stream flowing from the glacial Vrata Valley and taking you to the Pericnik Waterfall. After a recharge, head back towards the final destination. Wind down tonight with a lake view and celebratory drink.

Sadly, it is time to depart. Let us know if you need transfers.
